Juan Evangelista

Juan Evangelista’s musical style is characterized by a compelling fusion of classic Techno with dense and archaic rhythms, drawing deeply from 90s Techno and the depths of ambient. His journey began in 2014 when he founded the underground movement “TCC” in Córdoba, aimed at advancing Techno culture in Argentina. This endeavor paved the way for him to share stages with international artists, honing his craft and expanding his reach. Seeking broader horizons, he moved first to Buenos Aires and then to Barcelona, where he now devotes himself mostly to production in his studio.
In 2023, Juan released three standout EPs that have left a mark on the scene: El Niño de los Ojos Tristes on Default Series, the Dark Matter EP on Enux Records, and the milestone Equilibrium EP on Tremsix, featuring a remix by Jonas Kopp that solidifies his growing reputation.

Lately it seems that Juan doesn’t stop – with two USA tours, two Asia tours and gigs all over Europe as well as an all-vinyl tour in Canada alongside Freddy K the young artist has the motivation and drive it takes to go big. Besides those achievements of his solo tours, standout experiences were his performance at a festival in Mexico alongside DVS1, a festival in Riga next to Svreca and his residency at a monthly party called Expeditions in Berlin.

Juan Evangelista possesses a distinct impetus and groove that define his energy and music, which resonate in a particular way with the audience on the dancefloor. Juan has the stamina and creativity to create something that sticks with you, and that’s why he won’t stop just here.
